Our Team

At Denturecare we are a family business with a small friendly team. We provide a personal service where you will always see the same faces at every visit. Throughout your treatment, you will deal directly with your dedicated Clinical Dental Technician, who is a registered Dental Care Professional. This enables us to gain a thorough understanding of your own unique needs and requirements.

The team is led by Managing Director and Clinical Dental Technician Dean Ellis, who first qualified as a Dental Technician (BTEC Dental Technology) at Stradbroke College, Sheffield in 1991.

He went on to graduate with honours from the International Denturist College in Toronto, Canada, and The Royal College Of Surgeons England in 2006.

His experience in the design and creation of high-quality, natural-looking dentures spans more than 30 years. Dean and his wife Joanne have owned Denturecare since 2008.

 

 

Dean and Joanne’s daughter Emily Ellis joined the family business after first qualifying as a Dental Technician in 2015 with a BTEC in Dental Technology from Sheffield College.

She went on to gain her BSc in Dental Technology from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2018.

Emily qualified as a Clinical Dental Technician in 2023 after studying at the University of Central Lancashire through the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

 

Lab Assistant Tim Wibberley joined the team at Denturecare in 2009 and has over 30 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of quality bespoke dentures.

 

Accounts Manager and receptionist Joanne Ellis took ownership of Denturecare with her husband Dean in 2008, prior to that she spent 22 years working in the service industry and has over 30 years’ experience of providing customer care to clients.

 

Receptionist Teresa Spowart has been welcoming and taking care of patients at our Doncaster branch since joining Denturecare in 2004.
